Adding new contacts

When I go to add a new contact or edit information I double click on the
contact I want to edit than a box appears real quick then disappears. The
same thing happens when I try to add a new contact. The only contacts that
are in there are people that I have emailed and the computer has remembered
the email address. I am new to vista and don't know if there is something
special I should do.

Please advise,

Make sure that "Windows Contacts" has all of it's default associations
set to it. This tutorial will show you how. Just select "Windows
Contacts" and click on "Set this program as default".
