Adding new contact error

I am recieving the following error when adding a new contact: Could not
complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.
 
There are innumerable causes for that error and you've provided no clue
which might apply to you.
Search the KB for the cause that most nearly fits your Outlook version and
the steps that produced your problem.
