Adding My Documents icon to My Computer for domain-joined computer

I have multiple machines and on the machines joined to a domain the My
Documents icon does not show up under My Computer on Windows XP sp2. On one
machine not joined to the domain the My Documents icon does appear. I've
tried the workaround of adding the info in the
HKLM/.../Explorer/DocFoldersPaths registry key, but that doesn't work.

There isn't any user policy on my domain (I'm the admin for the domain) that
restricts this, so I'm wondering if there is just something in XP that
doesn't allow My Documents to show up in My Computer? (note My Documents does
appear in Explorer, just not under the My Computer node).

Sorry - I had tried those workarounds already (see comment about using
"HKLM/.../Explorer/DocFoldersPaths"). I don't know understand the "The folder
must be read only or system. You can only change these at the command prompt"
comment. I don't think this means that I should my the My Documents folder
readonly. Is this in reference to the desktop.ini?

The desktop.ini file is correctly created with the Owner field filled out
correctly also. Here is the desktop.ini contents:
[DeleteOnCopy]
Owner=MarkRi
Personalized=5
PersonalizedName=My Documents

Any thoughts?
