Adding fonts to wordpad

Is there any way to copy fonts from one compouter to another???? i opened
the fonts folder in windows, on my desktop, copied a font file to a USB
scandisk and trnasferred it to the windows font folder on my laptop...opened
wordpad and it wasn't there...rebooted and still wasn't there...is there any
way to add fonts to wordpad????

Not sufficient to just copy the font files to Windows>Fonts.

They must be installed.

With Windows Explorer open go to Fonts folder then File>Install New Font

You need to install new fonts; in Fonts, File menu - Install new font,
browse to it. If need be take 'Copy to Fonts folder'
