Adding Field to Form and Saving It ...

I would like to add a field to my "Contact" form and then save the form,
so every time I edit or add a new contact this field is present ... I
can edit the form, I can not figure out how to save the form with the
changes I made ... any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the advice for setting a default form ... Is there any way to
make that new form the default form when you open an existing contact
already entered into Outlook using a previous form?
