Adding Exchange Account

I want to add an Exchange e-mail account to Outlook 2000.
When i go to add an account there is no option for adding
an Exchange account. It automaticly assumes i have a POP3
account. How do i get my Exchange account on it??

You need to have Outlook installed in Corporate or Workgroup mode. THis can
be done through Tools | Options | Mail Setup | Reconfigure Mail Support.
Have your Office/Outlook CD handy and remember to re-apply any SPs/update
for Office when finished.

Note - you should set up two mail profiles, one for POP (w/a PST file for
delivery) and one for Exchange. MS does not support using POP and Exchange
in the same mail profile in versions of OL prior to 2002....you will
eventually get "no transport provider available" errors that you will likely
not be able to fix.
