Adding Com (Serial) Ports to XP Box

I'm helping a friend with a fairly new Dell Optiplex
running XP Pro. In addition to the internal modem and
the mouse using Com 1 & 2, he has a bar code scanner and
an APC UPS, both which can only be connected to a serial
port (no USB option). My question, what's the easiest
way to add additional serial ports to a Dell Optiplex/XP
Pro? Thanks......

Buy a dual pci serial port card and install it.
