Adding Apps

This query concerns a computer I share, and I have administrator rights.
Some apps. (very, very few) ask when being installed if it is just for my
use, or everyones use on the computer. I like that kind of option. Is
there a way to install something to my acct. only, without being offered the
option by the installer?

The newer the program, the better the chances that you will be asked who the
install is for.
