adding accurately in excel

When I used the @sum to add my total, the total is one number less that it's
supposed to be. Why is the automatic function not adding correctly?

Most likely Excel is adding the number correctly. Consider

3.33
3.33
3.33
-----
9.99

Now if you format these numbers, and the total to 0 decimal places you would
see
3
3
3
