ADDING A USER TO A DOMAIN

I've beat my head against the server for several nights now. I add a new
user to active directory. Just a plain user.

I try to log on a client attached to the AD Domain and I get "Domain not
found". I log on using any old user, ie the Administrator, and the log on
works fine.

Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Marshall

I wonder if you aren't using old users who have cached credentials. It
sounds like you have lost connectivity to your network.

Paul,

These are not old users/user names. The connection to the network is just
fine. This is just a weird problem.

Thanks,
Marshall

Are you trying to login locally or to the Domain? In the login box
does the third box show the Domain or the machine?

Cheers,
