Adding a sound to a textbox

Is there a possibility to add a sound to a textbox in
PowerPoint? I can't seem to be able to do that.
What I do is I create a TextBox/Rectangle, add some text
to it and create an Entrance animation(Color Typewriter).
I then try to add a sound to it(Typing.wav) and it does
not play at all, either in Preview (which is a known
issue) or in the slideshow.
Sorry if this has been asked somewhere before, but I get
an error if I try to do a search in the forums.

It should work as described, even in Preview mode. I'm assuming that you're
using PowerPoint 2002, but you didn't say. Can you confirm that, and can
you tell us what version of Windows you are using?
