Normally the PC will automatically see the new memory when you boot up. You
should see this in the BIOS info (if it doesn't all flash by too quickly)
You can also verify memory size by entering the BIOS setup (pressing DEL or
F1 or F2 or .... at startup).
If the memory is not recognized, it may not be compatible with your PC.

I am trying to add a 256mb memory chip to my computer. I have installed it
but now I don't know how to have my computer reconize it. My manufacter is
Millineum but unfortunatly they are no longer around and I can't find my
manual. Any help would be appreciated
