adding a macro file to a wor document

I have created a macro in excel for my data analysis, and have just started
to write my procedure that covers it. Is it possible to include the macro as
a file in the word document so that future users can just copy the macro onto
their computer.
 
Essentially a macro is a list of commands in text format - you will see such
listings regularly reproduced in these newsgroups - so yes you can save the
code in documentary form.
