added Xp pro but when I go to download it says code key not correct

I have windows home edition. I loaded the professional addition to my home computer from my business for some reason it wont let me download any of the updates...How do I take the pro version off... I have both CD's and code keys but can find no9w way to ttake the proversion off Help my com port and printer port are currupted and wont let me print in device mangager both these have yellow exclamation marks nest to them help help help...every since I put professional version on It seems like I am looseing fuctions by the day........
