services, which components should i add ? Then i can use the services

George,

To add Services snap-in to your image, include "Administration Support
Tools" component.

thanks,and another problem:)

I want to make a ewf-disk image,and add "Enhanced write Filter"."Ewf Manager
console Application"."EWF NTLDR" three components, but after FBA,i check the
FBALOG.txt, find ewf it failed, i don't know why? I follow the steps from
the msdn, and have unpartitioned space 8GB, my test image partition is
700MB. I have 4 partitions with a large enough unpartition space but no
extended partition,is this the problem?

George,

That would help a lot if you would:
- create another thread in this NG with the new problem for discussion
- mention the error you saw
- attach the FBALog.txt

I hope that by "ewf-disk image" you meant an image with EWF Disk based
Overlay. Correct me if I am wrong.
There is a limit of 4 primary partitions you can create on a disk under XP.
Since you need the EWF configuration partition to be created during FBA, it
may be the problem.

For the EWF issues, please read
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/xpehelp/html/xetbsTroubleshootingEWF.asp.
And use search:

I think you are the expert at XPE,so i ask in this thread :p.
My "ewf-disk image" just mean an image with EWF disk, my expression is poor
:)
I have to use another hard disk with less then 4 primary partition to test
my image. It is so boring. :-)

George,

In general, it is a good idea to create one thread per issue. This will help other folks to see your problem and also will help
other suffering if they do a google search later.
