I would like windows xp sp2 to add a SPYWARE and ADWARE remover in it. Say put it into the Security centre and when ppl want to update the definitions it could connect to a microsoft server.

Also in SP2 could you add some tweaks that speed up windows xp like 3rd party add-ons can do

Could you please pass these on the the SP2 development team.

You mean like the PowerToys?

That's an interesting idea, but considering how much trouble Microsoft
gets in when they try to bundle apps that are currently handled by 3rd
party vendors I'm not sure how anxious they are to do it again.
Besides, Ad-Aware and Spybot seem to do a pretty good job of it and they're
both free for personal use.

You should direct your SP2 comments to the SP2 RC
newsgroups at
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=xpsp2&slcid=us
However, note that at this point, the content of the SP is
pretty much frozen as it is past beta and in release testing.
Also, as others noted, bundling functionality into the OS
has become a stick matter due to governmental intervention.
