Add/Remove Programs

In the add/remove programs under control panels, why doesn't all the programs
that are installed on my computer show up in this list... i am trying to
install a missing patch for word and can't find the word under this list to
repair it. any thought? thans

Was Word installed stand alone or as part of Office?

it was installed as an office pack.. that included outlook, excel etc,
however the office install file doesn;t appear either, and i tried using the
install cd to find the add in. and can't install it from their

Word is under: Microsoft Office (Professional).

Also, check the box on top that says: show updates.

Because the program itself has to be designed to show up on the list.
