add/remove programs

Getting the following messages whe trying to remove different programs.
"The following file does not exist or is not a valid unistallation log file." Or,
"An installation support file could not be installd. The System cannot find file specified."
I can see the uninstall files with the explorer but add/remove does not see them...
Could anybody help?

Are you trying to uninstall programs from within add/remove, rather than use
the uninstall file made specifically for that program? Don't use add/remove
if such files exist for those programs.. just click on the uninstall program.
Just guessing....
