I like to remove programs that I no longer use to clean up my file space but
I find it hard to track down where they are located because the XP's
Add/Remove applet does not show you where the software you are removing is
located. A lot of times the removal does not completely remove the software
from the Program Files folder and I like to completely remove it. Is there
a procedure that one can use that will locate where a program is located so
I can completely remove it. A lot of times the folder name is not related
to the name of the program so it makes it difficult but there must be a way
to locate them.

Most if not all are on C: drive, even with multiple hds the default loads
theprogram to C:.You can go to run, type:regedit Then expand:HKEY_CURRENT_
USER,software,R.click the unwanted,delete.Theres another,HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,
that has software also,then close out regedit.First though,R.click C: drive,open,programs,
edit and delete.Chk the other folders also.Go to run, type:%Temp% then go to edit,
select all,delete all.
