Add Remove Problem

I am running XP SP2. For some reason the remove/modify boxes are missing in
Add/Remove programs. How do I fix this?

Have you found a solution for this problem, because I now find mysel
in the same boat.

No I have not. Am learning a bit more about it but still do not know how
to fix it. The problem is that the enries in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall are
missing for the programs that do not have the change/remove button. I do not
know how to restore them to that registry or how to remove them from the
Add-Remove list.
