Hi carey. I found out it was nothing to do with service pack 2 and when
I
tried to download the patch from 'kellys korner' norton was not to
pleased
so
I did'nt bother. The problem proved to be 'autocad 2002' that I loaded.
It
created registery entry under the path
HKEY-local-machine-software-microsoft-windows-current
version-uninstall-
{5783F2D7-0101-0409-0000-0060B0CE6BBA}. There was a negative value
of -1
after Display icon. I changed the value to just 1 and the white space
disappeared. Thanks for help anyway.

| After installing XP service pack 2 a big gap has appeared in the
'ADD
OR
| REMOVE PROGRAMS' window. All of my installed programs are there and
the
gap
| appears to have something hidden in it. It does'nt seem to cause any
problems
| just seems a bit odd. Any comments greatfully recieved.
