Bob K.

I have an existing website with a typical FP theme which is consistent and
working on all pages. If I change one page they all change. I've imported
a page from another website that is very basic (no background, nav bars,
etc) and want to incorporate this imported page into the existing web with
the same theme. The page is now linked to a page within the pre-existing
website (shown in Nav view) and working as a linked page however the theme
for the imported page does not match that of the existing web pages. Is
there a way to (A) have the new page adopt the theme of the existing site
or (B) do I have to manually set the theme on the new page and change it
manually each time I make a change to the rest of the website? Option B is
what I want to avoid having to do.

Thanks,
Bob

Open your web and then this page in FP, then Format | Themes
Next make sure your default theme is selected, then select the All pages
option, then apply.

Thanks Thomas that fixed the problem. One thing I noticed though after
doing this is that when looking at the web in the full screen Nav View the
particular icon for this new page with the now present Theme has a small
slashed red circular in the lower left corner. Did I do something wrong
when applying the theme to it?

Thanks again!

Bob,

Glad that solve the problem, however I don't have a clue about the red
circle, as I don't use themes. I am sure that someone who use them will be
able to help you with that in the next 24 hours or so.

No problem. I appreciate all your help and the time you put in helping
people. I'll suggest MS give you another pay raise !#$%!

Figured it out! For anyone running into this - the problem occurred because
for some reason the filename suffix was incorrect reading .hmt instead of
htm. No idea why but when I tried to open it to look at it it would keep
opening in Notepad. Looking at the filename trying to understand this
problem I noticed the error, fixed it and now it works fine without the red
slash. The redslash is the MS way of saying that it's the wrong file type.

Bob, glad you figured out, but here is a response from Stefan on this issue:

You have added a file that is not supported by the nav view / nav bars (say an image or pdf)
