Sometimes an attachment gets lost in an email if in the body of the email.
How do I get the attachment in the field below the subject field. Some emails
I receive have this but I cant seem to be able to do this. Is it to do with
the version of Outlook.

No it's to do with the mail format. Change to Plain text or HTML and the
attachment will appear below the subject line. Unfortunately you can't
do anything about emails that you receive as Outlook reads those in the
format they are sent.

If you use the Rich Text format, the attachment will appear in the body of
the message (and unless your recipients are using Outlook as well, they
won't see the attachment). If your message format is HTML or Plain Text,
the attachment will appear in a field below the subject.
