AD Win2008-impossible to attach the second DC

We installed some windows 2008 servers and created new forest with new domain.
Not upgraded, not updated-completly new.
All server are updated, all firewalls-are disabled.
Any time you want to add additional server to that domain-it is painfull but
possible.
But if you want to add additional DC to that domain structure-it is
COMPLETLY IMPOSSIBLE. -we got a lot of different mistakes like unrecognizable
username and passwords(but username-the same admin who created that forest,
and belongs to all important groups
Any ideas?

Since this is clearly a Server and not a WinXP question, I recommend you
repost it in a Server newsgroup.
