AD complete site docs needed

Hi,
I'm trying to learn the whole process of being an AD architect and am
looking for design documents, preferably a complete set of what would be
created for a typical mid size company.
Does anyone know where such docs exist, if in the public domain, as a
template maybe?

Any help much appreciated

There are tons at Microsoft and even in the built-in help -- the obvious
Help and Google searches apply.

Try searching the built-in Help for [ Active directory checklist ] (The
Help has a checklist for almost everything -- and from there you can
get to the adjacent topic areas for AD.)

Read: "Active Directory Design and Deployment" -- Gary Olsen. An
excellent book even if it is a bit dated by now.

Also remember this: Almost all AD replication and authentication
problems are REALLY "DNS problems."

(Presuming you have a working network, and generally setup the
machines ok.)

DNS is the easiest way to mess up AD -- and it happens to people
who even get AD working correctly initially, and then change something.
They either mess up DNS or never really understood what they had to
start with.
