Hi there can someone help me to sort this problem out -
I'm trying to get a website down & it's coming up with

Your current Security Settings prohibit running ActiveX
controls on this page - As a result the page may not
display correctly

How do I fix it as the page I want is Icons for Outlook
Express on Windows XP Home edition

Please let me know - I'm running Mcafee Viruscan 8.0
Professional & have tried disableing the firewall & other
things but still the same problem

Shane :-(

Hi,
Open Internet explorer,,, go to Tools > Options > Security tab..... click on
internet and move the slider a notch or two lower (preferably at medium
level).
If you don't see the slider.... click on Default Level button at the bottom
of the property page...

If you fully trust the website, here is what you can do:

launch Internet Explorer -> Tools -> Internet Options... -> Security ->
Custom Level... -> make sure the following settings are set to enable.

Download signed ActiveX controls = enable
Download unsigned ActiveX controls = enable

To ensure your computer is secured, I'd strongly suggest you to reverse
these setting back to what they were after you get the icons you like.

Good luck.
