Active X in Outlook signatures

I created an email signature in Outlook.

When the signature is added to the message, I get a "your securities do not
allow running Active X controls.....etc."

There is also a little bounding/object box at the start of the signature and
I have no idea where that came from.

It's that object box that I'd like to get out of the signature.

Can you help?

I guess it is a smart tag you have used. Try and delete your signature -
disable the smart tag functionality - make the signature again. Does it work
better now?

Thanks.

How do I disable smart tags?
