Active window doesn't come to front

Hi,
The strangest thing is happening. When I click on a button on my task bar,
or open a new application, it doens't come to the front! The button changes
color but I then have to alt-tab to get to it. Which thing do I click - or
unclick to fix this.

That can happen if you left another window open with a context menu.
Close other windows, or restart Windows and see if it was just a
one-time glitch..
