While trying to create my own web page I have to preview the page on my
local machine, the page has active content in it. I'm receiving an Active
content blocker message and having to allow it each time. I know I can add
web sites to an allow list but as this is reading from a local file on my
machine how can I add this to the allowed list?

Hi

Go into the 'tools' menu in IE select 'internet options' then the 'advanced'
tab. Scroll down and you will eventually come to 'security'. Tick 'allow
active content to run in files on My Computer'. You might like to click
'Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer' as well. Hope this
helps - it did me. Now does anyone know how to configure security to allow me
to download .pdf files in IE6? I'm tearing my hair out.

It's not security. It's Adobe's Preferences.
