Activation Freeze

I accidentally let Vista run out of activation time. This means that when I
boot it, I just get the activation window. Sadly, everything I press makes
the window freeze. The only thing that works is the 'More Ways to Activate'
button, and the buttons within that screen don't work either. They all freeze
the window up.

I don't even have a chance to enter in my key, which basically means that I
can't activate. The odd thing is I can still move my cursor and shut Windows
down normally by pressing the power button. Is there any way I can make this
window stop freezing so I can activate and enjoy Vista?

Well, maybe I'm missing something, but the obvious solution is to delete
the current Vista partition and reinstall. Then you will have a whole new
shot at activation.

I agree. Even if you phone in the Wizard is frozen and you will not be able
to enter the activation string the operator gives you.

unfortunatly i ran into that same problem once
