Activation, Can not reactivate

I have had to rebuid the same PC and I can not reactivate
XP. How do you do this and what does Microsoft expect you
to do in this situation?

What happens when you attempt to activate?
Did you choose the option to activate by phone?

If you are unable to activate Windows XP again via the internet,
then select the option to "activate by telephone".

Just call up, tell then it is the same machine rebuilt,
and that is all there is to it.
