What happens to the 1st partition activation when I
activate the 2nd partition on a dual boot system?

Bruce,
The EULA also states "A license for the Product may not be
shared or used concurrently on different Computers" which
implies a dual boot system is within the EULA.

See the other replies 2 this.

Thanks

It will activate over the internet without any problem, but you will not
technically be in compliance with the EULA.
You can access the EULA from Start>Run> type: winver> Click on End User
License Agreement.

That's the right answer. Many people have installed 2 copies by accident
(fluffed doing a 'repair install'). Since the hardware hash is the same
for both copies, activation is not an issue, however it is 'technically
against the terms of the EULA', which is pretty daft IMO.

Yeah, but according to that wording, you can't share the software. One
day MS could say that you couldn't let anyone esle use your computer,
with a MS OS installed.

"Trustworthy Computing" is only another example of an Oxymoron!

And to add to your referrenced reply it also states.
1.1 Installation and use. You may install, use, access,
display and run one copy of the Software on a single computer,
such as a workstation, terminal or other device ("Workstation
Computer").
What you do with the information is up to you. You original question was
about activation?
