Does anyone know of a way to implement the use of an "Action Plan" with
Outlook? In other contact managers, this is typically a recurring group of
tasks (e-mails to send, people to call, things to do, etc.) that need to be
repeated in exactly the same way over and over again. I sell real estate and
whenever a client of mine enters into a contract to buy a house, 10-15 things
need to be done in order to close the transaction.
Other real-estate-specific contact managers allow you to create an action
plan that once initiated (with a single button click) for a given contact or
transaction, my to do list and calendar would automatically be populated with
these 10-15 things. For example, I might need to turn in a copy of the
contract to my office on day 1, set up the home inspection on day 3, schedule
the closing with the attorney on day 5, follow up with the other agent for
necessary repairs on day 10, etc.
Anybody have an idea how to manage repeated tasks like this without having
to type them manually into Tasks and Calendar one by one?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
