I draw a close button on a object like rectangle.

when i click the button, the rectangle should disappear

some thing like a information window. which you would close...

need to know how to access (its disabled)

Action setting > Action on click> object action....

What version of PowerPoint? If it's PowerPoint 2002 or 2003, apply an Exit
animation, e.g. "Disappear" on mouse click.

I am using Office xp.
No, THis is not the problem...
I wish to use it as a switch.
It wont re-enter if i do an exit with mouse click.

Something like i have a switch

I press- click on IT once,( note not anywhere on slide) but on that
autoshape-circle
and the circle turns to say square.
or circle exits, square appears

then i click on square- and the square turns to circle.
or square exits, circle appears

need to repeat this procedure- as amny times asked (>1)
