action cancelled

Hello....I have a question for one of you computer
wiz's.......First off, I'm running windows xp
professional and I have a dsl for my internet. Any how,
for the past month or so I'll open a page on the net and
where there is normally a add I get a icon with a I in it
and a message saying ACTION CANCELLED...Internet explorer
was unable to link to the web page you
requested...blah..blah. Can one of you good people out
there tell me how I can remedy this action? Somehow or
another a setting got changed or something. Can't figure
it out myself......THANKS....

Larry,
The Action Cancelled" message is usually caused by an entry in
the HOSTS file that is blocking the "<iframe>" ad on the page
from displaying ......
