Hi,

I wonder if someone can help. I'm looking for a an application where if i
press the middle button on the mouse, it should fire up an app. & execute a
task. so e.g. opening ms outlook and have a new email message window OR open
excel and start an action.

any ideas?

Which part are you stuck on? The mouse clicking, or the automation? For
the mouse clicking, install Intellipoint drivers from
www.microsoft.com/mouse and you can set your middle click to do whatever you
want. For the automation, try posting in a programming group of some sort,
such as a scripting group, .scripting.vbscript, for example. Or
..scripting.wsh.
