Acrobat just hangs and will not open

Download the same version from internet and run re-install/Repair. Just enter
the registration key from the previous install (If it asks)

How did you get it installed originally, and do you have the paperwork
maybe you can get a deal on an upgrade from Adobe.
 
where do I go to reinstall it? I can't find any paperwork or info on it right
now.

If you have to edit the documents you will have to pay for the real
software. You can't edit pdf's with the Reader only.

I like acrobat cuz I need to edit some of my documents.
