I get a "acpi.sys is corrupted" blue screen upon turning
on computer. Can't get into to windows. My 1024 ram is
reduced to 72ram. Removed cmos battery and memory and
reinstalled them and bought a new harddrive to try and
reinstall windows XP professional but still get the same
error. Norton was disabled. Sounds like some virus attack.
Can't get windows installation to work. It stops at the
last 8 minutes with a blue screen error. Computer has
worked fine on xp prof for a year.
Anyone know anything about this acpi.sys corrupted error?
