Acitvating Windows XP PRO Upgrade

Hi

I'm trying to activate XP Pro on a computer that has an illegal XP PRO
product key. I've got a legitimate verison of XP Home and have just purchased
the XP PRO SP2 upgrade CD but when I try to change the product key in the
product key changer (using the new XP PRO UPG key) it tells me that the key
is invalid. What are my options?
