acCmdDeleteRecord BUG

Using A2002 sp3
when i use
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdDeleteRecord
to delete a record i get an error
"no current record" 3021 after it deletes the record
if i use a delete query i get no error.
if i use a different version of access i get no error.
is this a know issue ? is there a work around?

AFAIK, there has been no official statement on this yet, but other users are
seeing the same behavior in A2002 SP3, so it does seem to be a flaw in the
service pack.
