I accidentally disabled my display driver in Windows XP
Pro. So I can't see the monitor after I get it past the
Windows XP pro black screen. How do I boot in a way that
will enable the display driver? I tried the last known
good config and the screen is still blank. I also tried
the safe mode but all I get are c prompts running.

While in Safe Mode, give the prompts time to finish. In some cases, after
minutes safe mode will appear. If you get that far, once there go to
Start/Run/Msconfig/Boot.ini and select BaseVideo and reboot.

If this does not help nor apply, physically remove the graphics card,
replace it and hope for hardware detection upon reboot. Good luck!

Boot to the Menu, hitting F8 as BIOS info goes to black, and take
Safe Mode - Command Prompt

In that give
C:\Windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

which loads the System Restore control and restore to a point made
before you disabled
