I intended to create a partition on a slave disk, but forgot to switch
drives in FDISK when I did it. I removed that partition but now when I
try to boot, I get a boot failure message. Am I screwed or is there a
way to fix this? No, I did not delete the partition winxp is on.
HELP!

What's a "DOS" partition? I thought we had FAT/FAT32 or
NTFS partitions?

Yes...lay off the caffeine, especially when one is tired and
not quite thinking straight. Fdisk is about one of the most
dangerous commands that exist, when around an operational
Windows machine. It is always better to use Disk Management.
And the better substitute for a DOS partition is to use a
DOS emulator or the Command Prompt. Otherwise, put together
a real DOS box...from old parts still laying around.
