Alright, on our first computer, we tried to do a clean
installation on it using windows xp. It did not work for
some odd reason. Well then i used my sisters old
computer as one to use for school and email and had to
download windows xp as well. The thing is, i didnt want
to activate it because i knew i would figure out a way to
put windows xp on my pc. Well neways, i found a way to
put windows xp on my home cd, but apparently someone(i
dont know who) was using my sisters old computer....got
the message asking if they wanted to register AND
REGISTERED!!!!!!!! SO ive been trying to register on my
computer but it says that my cd has already been used.
NO ones using the old computer, and i didnt even want it
to be registered in the first place. HOW DO I REVERSE
THIS!!!! I would appreciate ne advice or answers!!!
Thank you

PS:im currently not able to sign on to my account on my
computer because it makes me attempt to register :(
PPS:This registration idea for microsoft is annoying
beyond belief...i would really appreciate anyones advice
THANKS AGAIN!

First of all, you'll need to uninstall XP from your sister's computer.
Tell the computer that you want to activate by Telephone.
Call the number provided to you, and attempt to activate. If your
activation is electronically denied, you'll be able to talk to an activation
agent to discuss the problem. Simply explain the situation - tell them that
you want to transfer the license from one computer to another. They'll help
you do so.

O NO!....that means my sisters computer cant be used
nemore? I dont know if i really want to do that :0o

Well, you need one license for each computer running Windows. If you want
to keep XP running on both computers, you'll need to purchase a copy for
each.
