Accessing Windows Task Manager

Hello,
I cannot access my windows task manager. It minimizes and
then closes. The window does not stay up long enough to
view. How can this be resolved? Any help would be greatly
appreciated. Thx :{)}

This behavior can be caused by a virus. One of two:

Enable the Task Manager (Line 113)

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Try this to:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.spybot.worm.html

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:

Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
