Hello! I'm trying to find out how to record the sceens in
the System Setup Program before I replace my computer's
faulty battery. To cut to the chase: how do I go about
bringing up these screensonmy computer and subsequently
recording them. I own a Dell Dimension 8200 Systems
Desktop.

If you're refering to your BIOS setup screens... do you have access
to a camcorder that you can play back through your tv. Replacing
the cmos shouldn't affect Window's settings.

Charles, don't worry about it. If you didn't make changes to the BIOS
yourself, the default one will be fine. Just change the motherboard
battery and then go into the BIOS and set the time/date. Save it and
move on. If you made extensive changes, the preceding doesn't apply of
course.
