Accessing drive volume

When I tried to run error check on my C: drive, after
rebooting, I get the message"Cannot access drive volume.
Disk check is complete." But it does not check for
errors. How con I fix this problem?
 
Hi Skip,

If the message you're receiving is something like this, "Windows Can Not
Open Drive for direct access", and you have Zone Alarm Pro version 5
installed, that seems to be causing this problem for a heck of a lot of
people. Uninstall version 5, then try running checkdisk again.

Open My Computer, right click on Drive C: Go to
properties. then click on Check for Errors.
