I have created a database using Access2000 &
continued to develope it with Access2002.
I have now upgraded to 2003 and would like to know
what the advantages would be to converting my database
default file format to the 2003 format.

Realistically, there's no real advantage to converting, other than you can
only create MDEs if you're in 2002/2003 format.

Hi,
there is not really an advantage. The advantage lies in keeping ACC2000 as
the default file format. This way you ensure that users with earlier versions
of access can use your applications as well.

Good luck

Actually, there is no A2003 file format. The existing A2002 file format has
been renamed as A2002/A2003 file format.

Unless you need to make MDE version of your database, there is no advantage
in converting to A2002/A2003 file format.
