I was send as an attachment from microsoft the Sept. 2003
cumulative Patch
After installation the following message appears:Memory
access violation in module kernel32 at 7696:84866959 -
same message but 8919:74346337 and 6947:94462891 and
3813:88919264
Norton system works and firewall do not work anymore -
system restore does not roll back either!
Any help out there?
Cheers
Ingolf

W32.Swen.A@mm is a mass-mailing worm that also attempts to spread through file-sharing
networks, such as KaZaA, and IRC, and will attempt to kill antivirus and personal firewall
programs running on the computer.

Some devious person is "spoofing" Microsoft. The email message is
not from Microsoft and should be deleted immediately!

Microsoft never sends a file attachment with email. They will always
provide a link to a Microsoft web site.

You were sent a virus. Microsoft never ever attaches patches in their
e-mails!
