What about anti-virus software? Do you have any installed and running?
Without having a developer look at the code it is very hard to determine
what is causing this. A lot of applications make use of this dll.
What is the date/time stamp on ntdll.dll? Open a command window, navigate
to %windir%\system32, and type dir ntdll.dll.
Thanks,

Yep,
all critical updates installed.
I have got that message while using several softwares since about one
week.
However have not been able to get it again for two days now.
But I would like to know what that means and what coudl cause such errors.
I appreciate your intervention here ! Was beginning to despair ! I haven't
been able to find anaything applicable to XP about ntdll.dll and "access
violation" yet !
