When you say 'formula' think code. Imagine if you could write your own
'formulas' for a moment. You can do just that with Microsoft Access. In
Excel, you are largely reliant on built-in formulas. However in Access you
can create your own.

Using Microsoft Access, you store data in 'tables' much like a spreadsheet.
However, a spreadsheet is a 'flat-file' database. When you use Microsoft
Access, you build spreadsheets (tables) that relate to eachother by creating
'relationships'--Microsoft Access is a 'relational database' programming
solutions. Using Microsoft Access it is entirely possible to build an entire
application.

Best regards,

Todd

Access is certainly the right tool for what you want! The learning curve
however is rather steep. If you need the database you describe up and
running soon, contact me at my email address below.
